Hey there,
I've looked over a number of different articles and forum posts here, but am needing some guidance from more experienced folks.
I've managed to get my AC68U up to version r58568 std, most everything is working fine but for the IPv6. I've got IPv6 working fine on the router, ping -6 google.com works.
Nothing seems to work for the clients. I've set DHCP-V6 with PD, /64, MTU is 1500. DHCPv6c (aka DHCPv6 Client Daemon) cannot be disabled, but I have set t to follow "DNSMASQ IPv6 Settings".
I've disabled dhcp6s, radvd, multicast is still checked (blocked) on the firewall page.
On the services tab, I have DNSMASQ's IPv6 RA enabled, br0 ,br4 & br8 checked, where br4 is the bridge/vlan I made for guest devices & br8 is for regular home devices. Stateless DHCP6, default settings otherwise.
Do I need to enable the checkboxes for networks I want the dhcp6 requests to be served on? If I am running wireguard on this, do I also need to check oet1?
I've also tried adding Code: | server=2620:fe::fe
dhcp-option=option6:dns-server,[::] | to the custom settings, but no IPv6 DNS entries show up on my Android device. What could be preventing the DHCP6 addresses for devices on my two wifi networks from working? Thank you so much for any help you can provide |
