Using a Linksys 3200acm as a wireguard server for 12 months flawlessly. Connecting with an AppleTv with the "Bee VPN" client.

Now having an issue at my sons University with buffering on a stream (worked fine last year at the school). The AppleTv gets more then 100 up and 100 down. Apps. not going through the bee client do not buffer. Using a phone hotspot with the appletv and the bee client do not buffer.... so the university does not like this set up, and already went down the MTU road "why is is cool on a cell phone hotspot".

Does Tunnel Obfuscation help me here?

Does Tunnel Obfuscation have to run on the server side and the client side??? I see a radio button on the DD-WRT server, but do I also need to enable it on the client?? The Bee vpn is very, very simple... not button / mention of Tunnel Obfuscation.

Any thoughts or insight is appreciated.

It has to be run on client and server.
So not suited for your use case

WireGuard docs , which are a sticky in this forum (first few sticky threads) have info about it.

You can try a different port e.g. 443 to see if they do not check that but WG is easily detectable.

You can try OpenVPN with scramble options (see the OpenVPN guides) that also should be run on client and server but there are a lot of clients available with scramble options
