Hello,

I don't understand what's going on.

I migrate my WRT3200ACM to dd-wrt without any problems.
I connect to the admin web interface without any problems by connecting to the default wifi network (dd-wrt).

But as soon as I put a password for access to this wifi network (and whatever this password is) I can no longer access the admin web interface.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Grorico.

Since there have been no responses I will suggest this link could help . . .

I'm not sure, reading your description, if you have already configured the router/wifi or if you are trying to do so via wifi?? A better description of your issue might get more responses. =)

Hello,

Thank you very much for your answer and for the link.
I'll try again by detailing a little more ...

Following the installation of dd-wrt, I connect to the default wifi network. I go to the web administration interface, I change the login and password to access the web interface (ssid: 'dd-wrt' without a default password).

Then I select the wifi tab -> security. I check: WPA3 Personal / SAE + CCMP-128 (AES) and I enter a password. And this on Wlan0 and Wlan1.
Once the settings are applied, I reconnect to the wifi network by entering the password this time.
Then I go to the web interface which seems to work and asks me for the connection password. But once I enter the password, the page does not load and the web interface becomes inaccessible until I restart the router. If I restart the router the same sequence occurs again.

Hope someone can help.
Eric.

You should be using WPA2 Personal, not WPA3. Not sure how many client devices even support WPA3 if they aren't brand new or have the updated drivers that support it.

If I understand correctly you are doing your setup via a wifi connection? If so I can't be of much help as I always set my routers up via a wired connection/web browser.

Once installed, using a web browser, I use this info to connect to the DD-WRT UI:

Linksys Default Router IP Address: 192.168.1.1
DD-WRT Default User Name: root
DD-WRT Default Password: admin

I make all setup changes, saving/applying after each change. I setup EVERYTHING including my wifi settings at the same time. After all setting are made and saved I reboot the router. Only then do I attempt to connect via wifi.

First change I suggest is you select WPA2 Personal and CCMP-128(AES) and ONLY those settings for wireless security. WPA3 Personal is known to fail for almost everyone.

Sorry I'm not much help, hopefully other users will chime in. =) Edit: on posting I see you have a response already.
