Don't forget, if the crashes are being caused by a kernel dump, you can retrieve it without a serial connection by typing:
Code:
strings /dev/mtd20

If all you get back is a list of UBI# then the kernel has not crashed and the problem is elsewhere.

On my WRT3200ACM, there are no dump logs:
Code:
root@DD-WRT:~# strings /dev/mtd20
strings: /dev/mtd20: No such file or directory

What am I missing?

But there are some other files/directories:
Code:
root@DD-WRT:/dev# ls

I don't think the oops partition exists on any other routers except AX routers. You can verify this by typing:
#cat /proc/mtd
If oops is not in the list, you don't have it.

Yes, the oops partition does not exist on Marvell. Sorry for not sharing that information publicly. Embarassed
