| I went to restore my r7800 to a previous config, and it's a different firmware version. After the restore, it seems that it just reverts to factory defaults. I tried it again, and it does the same thing. Is this because the backed up version is an older version of the firmware? |

The backup is from r52894 and I am currently on 58389. Are you saying to just implement the changes from factory? Is there a way to read the settings from a backup file? |
yes 58389 its older pre DSA and 'back up from old to a new' its not a nice thing to do..
better roll back to the old build restore backup, then upgrade to the 58389 and c how it works...
if router behaves funny...you can export to pdf your GUI router pages and than reset redial settings manually...
