@TopMandolin Here is the latest alpha release which will hopefully finally fix your mtd issues. Please test and report back.
Sorry, I didn't get any email notification about the new posts.
I've tested 11-02-2024-r58627 which has been released today and it's booting normally as di@mond reported.
Thanks to lexridge and kernel-panic69 for their dealings to draw attention to this issue and the others for providing the UART logs that helped to narrow down the issues.

Hi All,
I have a Toob SPNMX42 on which I'd like to flash dd-wrt, but I'm stuck at it not allowing the installation of generic firmware.
I can see that installing the Starhub firmware first should get around that, but despite searching I can't find where I can download it. I did come across a page on how to debrand them, however that points at a support article which is no longer accessible:
I think I actually did get to that page, but was looking under the v2.0 hardware as I thought that's what the SPNMX42 is. I did download and install the dd-wrt v2.0 firmware, which seems to be working fine so far, albeit I still need to copy the configuration across from my R7800.
Hi everyone. Didn't want to make a thread and I don't mind too much if it doesn't get worked out as it's not really related to dd-wrt. Just more curious than anything as to the reason behind it.
I got a SPNMX42 router from a UK ISP called Gigaclear. They are sold on Ebay.
My ISP is TalkTalk FTTP in the UK. AFAIK it's IPv4 DHCP only. On the stock Gigaclear firmware I had internet access and all seemed to be fine. After I flashed StarHub firmware (in order to flash dd-wrt) I no longer had internet access (IP of the router also changed to 192.168.10.1). Not the standard 192.168.1.1 of Gigaclear.
I put it down to a problem with v1 firmware being on a v2 unit so to check I installed the retail v2 firmware. Same thing. Could not access the internet at all.
I just gave up and flashed dd-wrt and internet worked as expected.
Does anyone have any idea why the starhub and v2 firmware didn't get internet but Gigaclear stock did? I can't even find Gigaclear specific firmware files either.
