I followed the install instructions and got to the password change dialog. I used my password manager to insert a username and password.
Now when I go to 192.168.1.1 I get the dd-wrt page. When I click on anything I get a username/password dialog box and the same ones don't work. I'm effectively locked out.
Is there a way to reset the username/password?
(Just FYI: I'm using MacOS - no access to a PC, unfortunately.)
Can you access it through your phone? Case sensitive? Try factory resetting dd-wrt by holding the reset button for 10 seconds. I have not tried this. Powering the router off 5 times before it completely boots may reset it to factory defaults as well. _________________ 5 Linksys MX4300 LN1301 DD-WRT v3.0-r58376 std (09/11/24)

You don't use a password manager for DD-WRT webUI. Use the reset button ~10 seconds depressed while powered up and release, let it reboot, and remove the credentials from your password manager, then try again. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
