I am confused regarding multi router configurations and which one is the best for me.

I am trying to extend my wifi coverage. I have 2 routers - and I would like to set them to the same wifi - but put them in different parts of my house. I have an ethernet cable between the two routers. What is the best way to configure my second router to improve my signal - which multi router configuration do I use.

Sorry if this is a very simple question - I have been reading and getting confused. I appreciate the assistance.

There are several ways of doing this, and some SOC will work better than others for certain configurations, so you would have to elaborate on your particular scenario to suggest you a couple os "the best way of" doing it. Else, you should study the different options, maybe some documentation of the wiki, to realize what each option offer, and choose the more suitable for you.

Thanks for the help. I reread the wiki and I realize that AP (as also suggested) is the way to go. Thanks for the help.
