Hello Yesterday due to some power surges the router reset. I proceeded to restore the configurations but evidently the backups were not compatible with the versions previous and did not upload them.I reset the router via the back button. I therefore decided to upload them manually but the result was unexpected. Continuous malfunctions on the cable LAN network and extreme slowdown in performance. Even if Once the net isolation of the VLANs is imposed, the result is the complete blocking of the main LAN br0, the VLAN continues to work and the others even if slowed down. I did multiple tests and the result is always the same. Having set up net isolation, the only way to reset the router is to do it via hardware (key) (when I also had WLan in net isolation). The router is also no longer able to properly release the IP (DHCP). By setting the IP manually, however, there is no communication. In fact, you can't connect to the router menu or make any connection (zero). The only way to have a minimum of decent operation is to NOT set VLANs. If, on the other hand, I connect via WLAN, the operation is normal, I can connect both on the menus and via the internet. What happens, before there were no particular problems, now I don't know what to invent anymore.
Solutions to this problems?
I attach some screenshots of performance and configuration.
Thank you.

-check your power adapter if delivers the correct amount of power
-100% of cases with problems regarding reset and reload settings are due to misconfiguration, bad settings and settings used from a different builds...so mostly user error..
-i can see some odd set up as well...i would rather follow the ho1Aetoo VLAN set up guide
https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=334342...

Why would you add vlans to the bridge and give IP to the vlan's instead of the bridge than you show off DHCPd showing 0.0.0.0 subnes what else do you expect to happen ?
There was also recommendation somewhere in the guide to unbridge the eth1 and leave it unbridged...
so it wont mess around...
Finally consult the guide...if you believe firmware is corrupt due to the power loss, than reflash it, reset and add settings manually Cool Laughing

The backups have a version number like

nvrambak_r53562_DD-WRT_Netgear R7800.bin

in this case you should flash build r53562, restore the backup and then update to the desired version
This will save you the complete reconfiguration

Otherwise, as already mentioned, your VLANs are configured incorrectly.
You have set the VLAN interfaces 3+4 to ‘unbridged’ but you are bridging them with br1+2 ... should be self-explanatory that this is completely wrong

I changed the configuration as indicated and rebooted. Now the connection takes place but very slow and at times. It doesn't connect to many sites. I reset for verification and the problem is not there. Speed tests fail or are extremely slow. What am I doing wrong or what do I need to configure? Help me.
Thank you.

unbridge eth1 as it is not used
You probably don't need "WAN NAT redirection" either

the difference between factory settings and your configuration is SFE (Shortcut Forwarding Engine)

You have deactivated this by adding unbridged interfaces.
If you want more speed you have to play around with the options in the "Basic setup" tab (NSS etc)

Without any acceleration the router will not manage ~700Mbit
but definitely more than 50Mbit
so no idea what your problem is but I bet if I flash the build now and test everything works
and since it is sunday I will not do that but watch TV

Thank you for your attention. The problem is that the router is not working incorrectly, not connecting or disconnecting. Speed is relative, I understand that you can't expect it from the R7800. As soon as possible, if you can give me a decisive hand to fix it in the best possible way, I would be grateful.

-how do you measure speed...wifi ?? Than wifi settings and clients are important or wired...
-did you check your Power Adapter if it delivers the correct power...
-also check your cables...
-speed problem may comes from ISP equipment too..reboot it, or check it..its power adapter may fail too..
-as settings are related revise your router set up and if you use any settings that may play with speed, QoS, SFE, iptables rules and ect...
-it also could be entirely ISP problem
-finally it may be related to a hardware problem...like problematic radio or WAN port and ect...
check with another router...
-try to reflash and reset and redo settings manually and check speed frequently to isolate where
this problem occurs

There is no magic button or fancy tablet that will help you out...you need to do the heavy work... Cool

So everything works.
As you can see, the bridged interfaces in combination with SFE cause massive problems.
In my stickies, however, the interfaces are unbridged if necessary!!!
We have also told you twice that you should unbridge eth1.

It is also known that SFE/NSS causes problems with virtual interfaces (so if in doubt, deactivate that too)

Just follow the instructions and it will work.

I applied your valuable suggestions and now everything seems to be working. I put away my configuration, if you can check it out and if I can improve something else. I hope I have understood everything correctly. Performance is around 500mips.
Thank you very much! Wink

no idea how on VLAN configuration the default WAN had moved to vlan1 instead the default vlan2... Razz Razz Razz i'd call it messy set up... Embarassed

I have used VLAN1 as WAN on my router
Since the router is connected as WAP via VLAN trunk, VLAN1 VLAN3 and VLAN4 but no VLAN2 flows via the trunk.
This is of course not a common configuration and was only to test the WAN speed and not a request to copy this.
The standard configuration is reversed VLAN1=LAN and VLAN2=WAN
But basically it doesn't matter as you can use any VLAN.

@Frakko

There's a lot wrong with that.
We told you to unbridge eth1 and not eth0
Because you are using eth0 as the WAN port in your configuration and the WAN interface is automatically not bridged
However, eth1 is not used but the VLAN interfaces.

Do not change anything other than setting eth1 to ‘unbridged’
You must not assign any IP addresses to eth0+eth1.

You introduce new errors and do things that nobody has said and I give up.

My VLAN stickies show error-free example configurations.
As I said, they are error-free and complete (no settings are required that are not explicitly shown)

But I give up and wish you a lot of fun

Hi, objectively I'm not having fun. The problem lies in the fact that, sometimes, I don't understand what you write well because I use an automatic translation tool or I really don't understand. As far as unbridge is concerned, the IP field cannot remain empty, at least in the first of the numbers, otherwise it gives me an error. If I "default" on eth0 the lan freezes. In order to avoid further shattering, if you have the patience, using a program, such as paint, you could put red "X" on what I have to remove from the check and black "X" on what to click. It would be much easier for me and I would solve the problem definitively. Thank you.

This is a known GUI bug, once you have assigned an IP address you can no longer remove it.

Code:
nvram set eth0_ipaddr=0.0.0.0
nvram set eth1_ipaddr=0.0.0.0
nvram commit
reboot

if you had followed the instructions you would not have had the problem at all
a reset also works of course

I should probably now ask how you were able to remove the IP addresses from VLAN3 and VLAN4 - but I'd rather not Rolling Eyes

and I don't paint anything at all, finally read the fucking sticky and that's it

I hope it's the right time, I rewrote everything from scratch.
In the image (cfg networking) A dchpd is missing but I added it.
Thank you.

Once again eth0 does not need to be unbridged.
You are using eth0 as the WAN interface and the WAN interface is never bridged.

and I have no idea what you mean by missing DHCPD.
Of course there is an additional DHCP server in my stickies.

In my stickies VLAN2 is also used as WAN interface and VLAN1 as LAN interface - as it is correct.

So you still haven't looked at the sticky.
And that was my last post on the subject.

Again for the 10th time there is the correct configuration >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
