Mode/Status: Gateway / Up and running for 3:19 hours
CPU Temperature: CPU 79.7 °C / WL0 46.5 °C / WL1 0.0 °C (ambient temperature 26.0 °C)

As always, the Quantenna chip has its own quirks. This is a closed source chipset
There is no way to install a channel. Crying or Very sad
But you can disable 5.0 GHz. @mpgalaxy hack "If you set the radio mode to station bridge and disable the network mode, the 5GHz device will turn off completely even after reboot." Wink

The fact is that the router is connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the red WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). The internet works, I just think it's a glitch.
But this does not affect the work.
Just relax
Cool

1. CPU temperature is not displayed correctly.
CPU temperature readings started changing after one second from 79.1 - 79.7 °C

Thank you BS and gurus! Wink

Router Model: Linksys EA6900 (XVortex CFE)

Firmware Version: Firmware by egc: DD-WRT v3.0-r57834M Community Build (08/10/24)

Upgraded from: Firmware by egc: DD-WRT v3.0-r57793M Community Build (08/09/24)using patched build so GUI update is working without a problem for this Xvortex CFE upgrade 😃

Reset: No not this time.

Configuration: Default gateway mode, 2,4GHz wireless running with unbridged VAP, 5GHz running, some static leases and some port range forwarding.
Four WireGuard tunnels running, one Server, one site-to-site and two clients in Fail-over group to Mullvad (of course with PBR to allow the WG server to use the WAN).
OpenVPN client with PBR running.
DDNS (dynv6) working.
IPv6 working.

NVRAM size 56K (NVRAM size should not be a problem with the Xvortex CFE)

Status: Up and stable for 8 hours

Errors: none so far

Thanks BS!!

Currently working on IPv6, coming to a build near you IPv6 for available interfaces will set RA for DNSMasq and IPv6 settings for wide-dhcp6 client but no ETA yet

Using it as a Wireless Access Point (aka "Dumb" Access Point).

I've recently migrated from Netgear Firmware Version 1.0.0.42, using the interim firmware listed above. Don't have many days using dd-wrt yet.

Reason for upgrade was concerned with EOL from Netgear, and how it can affect security.

Great news! But, first step in greater ipv6 integration within DD-WRT should be something @ jamesmtl suggested 9 years ago... we were still young back then Smile Seb too...

Code:
Setup -> IPv6 -> IPv6 dnsmasq section

[x] Enable dnsmasq IPv6

   [x] Enable Stateless configuration

   [x] Enable stateful configuration (*Required for IPv6 Address Reservations)

      IPv6 dhcpv6 range
      Start Address [1000             ] to End Address [FFFF             ]

   [4     ] Default dhcpv6 Client Lease Time (mins)

   [300   ] RA lifetime (seconds)

Services -> Static Leases

Mac Address         Hostname   IP Address     IPv4 Lease    IPv6 Address  IPv6 Lease
[AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AA] [myserver] [192.168.1.50] [1440 ] mins  [400        ] [5   ] mins

Which could be used to create dnsmasq conf entries such as

interface=br0
dhcp-range=::1000,::FFFF,constructor:br0,ra-stateless,4m
ra-param=*,10,300
enable-ra
quiet-ra
quiet-dhcp
quiet-dhcp6
dhcp-host=AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AA,myserver,192.168.1.50,1440m
dhcp-host=AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AA,myserver,[::400],5m

*** Note I would suggest both ipv4 and ipv6 host entries for each client as people
with dynamic ipv6 addresses need short ipv6 lease times so that clients update quickly
after a prefix change

Statelful and stateless coexist well in an ipv6 deployment
