Router/Version: Linksys MR7350 x 3
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r61025 std (05/06/25), Linux 6.6.89-rt29 #3218 SMP Mon May 5 11:20:28 +07 2025 aarch64
Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r60942 std (05/04/25), last reset on r60791
Mode/Status: Gateway (NSS-ECM), Access Point (5GHZ-HT20 AX/AC/N mixed, WPA2/WPA3, 802.11r/v/k, guest network, domain:UNITED STATES), performance governor, IPV6 (DHCP6 w/ prefix delegation), Entware, DOT via SmartDNS/DNSMasq, OpenVPN server, Wireguard Server + 2 Wired access points (2.4GHz-HT20 N/G Mixed, 5GHZ-HT80 AX/AC/N mixed, WPA2/WPA3, 802.11r/v/k, guest network, domain:UNITED STATES)
Issues/Errors:
Up 10 minutes. USB 3.2 stick working properly for Entware and "jffs" partitions. Speed, wired and wifi, is very close to published, which is equal or favorable to the ISP router - tested via nPerf.com. Wireguard and OpenVPN servers both working as expected and throughput sufficient to open video files on network shares. 5GHz showing 26dBm (set to 30dBm). 2.4GHz showing 28dBm (also set to 30dBm).

Haven't had time for extensive testing but initial tests look good.

Thank you Brainslayer.

With the R9000 I had an issue using the Web UI to update firmware, the little dialogue box didn't come up but the progress bar on the "Firmware Update" tab was moving. I was then able to navigate to other tabs and return to the update page as if nothing happened. Tried again, same result. Ended up using CLI to update and that worked normally. DLNA started right up on 7500v2 as well. So far so good!

Thank you BS and gurus!

Update method: WebUpgrade
Router/Version: Linksys MR7350
File: 61025
Previous/Reset: 60742 / yes
Mode/Status: Gateway / ok
Issues/Errors: After the update, it wouldn't connect to internet at all. Rebooted the router (from within GUI) - still wouldn't connect.
Reloaded 60742 and it works perfectly.
For some reason 61025 didn't work for me.

Edit:
Just upgraded to 60791. Tried the update to 61025 and still no luck (won't connect to internet or ping websites) - so happily using 60791,

Cheers

Could you please compare your WAN MAC address from 60791 and 61025 and see if it changes? I have been seeing this issue where the MACs are changing on an ea8500 with nearly every update. I had to use MAC Address Clone before it would connect to the Internet.

Good point. My MR7350 is working but I already clone the MAC address of the ISP router in order to get certain Verizon functions to work.

Hi,
I've put the Webmenu navigation in brackets just to check we mean the same thing and also so I can find the info easily next time if needed.
The MAC address stayed the same from 60791 to 61025 - just tested it. (Status/Router/Router Info)

Let me know if you would like further info - but treat me like a complete idiot and explain exactly what you want and how to get the info you are after.
MAC address Clone (Setup / MAC Address Clone ) is disabled.
I have also disabled all remote access but can enable it or play with settings if you need info. (Administration / Router Management / Remote Access)

I just thought that the same thing that was happening to me was also your issue. If the MACs don't change, it's obviously a different issue. On really early DSA builds, my MACs were completely randomized and my ISP will not allow connections unless the MAC is registered to a manufacturer. Later builds, the MACs were generally correct, but the last octal was changing, also preventing me from getting an IP address. There are ways around this by powering down the modem for ~10 minutes or so, but I needed to keep my same public IP address. So MAC cloning was my only alternative.

Fair enough.
With my ISP it shouldn't matter about the MAC address - at least - it hasn't mattered so far as have tried a few different routers (none of which were supplied by the ISP).

Anyway - that isn't the issue as you said but Dplotz managed to load 61025 on all 3 of their MR7350's so thinking it is a setting somewhere on my MR7350. Will see how it goes with the next build unless anyone wants some experimenting done.

I have updated all of my Netgear R7800 WDS Stations from 60791 to 61025. Some were reset others not, some command line, mostly WebGUI.

The main issue I am seeing is that the WDS Station connection (always on 2.4GHz in my case) works fine, then I add a VAP (WDS) with a different SSID and then it no longer connects to the main WDS AP anymore. The WDS Station connection drops. The Wireless status page will then not list a connection to the WDS AP but will somehow list a channel, not the correct one, for the main wireless interface (2.4GHz, ath1 in my case).

I checked all of the user paramters, SSID, WPA2 + AES, same password, same capitalization, etc.

As a stop gap measure, I have doubled up all of my routers (other dd-wrt router + Netgear R7800) that way I can use WDS at least but I have lost a lot of speed and range because of this. I can create a syslog file if that will help. I believe the main WDS AP, also a Netgear R7800 is running 60791 at the moment. No visible issues that I can find with it.

Router/Version: Netgear XR500 (Install guide by egc)
File/Kernel: dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin (r61025) / Linux 6.1.136-rt28 #571 SMP Tue May 6 09:37:03 +07 2025 armv7l
Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r60742 std (04/24/25) / no
Mode/Status: AP, NSS-ECM-SFE, AP 5GHz AC/N-Mixed 80MHz + AP 2.4GHz N Only 20MHz, WPA2/WPA3-Personal, 802.11r (FT), SSH (public key), DDNS (Dynu.com), 802.11 encapsulation offloading, ondemand CPU governor at night, SuperSpeed USB Storage (guide by egc), lighttpd (using Entware’s php8), WireGuard server, Cron / partially working
Issues/Errors: Similar to New Build - 04/26/2025 - r60771, some WiFi clients can't connect to 2.4GHz/5GHz network sometimes. Client is stuck at "Obtaining IP address" while /Info.htm page shows the client as connected with MAC, uptime, rate, RSSI, etc. After a short while, client auto disconnects and auto retries connecting again with no success.
LAN device still can access the internet, but the router itself cannot (NTP failed, DDNS failed).
Reverted to r60791.

Router Model Netgear XR500
Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r61025 std (05/06/25)
Kernel Version Linux 6.1.136-rt28 #571 SMP Tue May 6 09:37:03 +07 2025 armv7l

update: CLI r59887> r60586
reset: NO
mode: Gateway/DoT via SmartDNS, AD-Block (via DNSmasq script),IPset Firewall,Forced DNS,AP&Net Isolation,x2VLAN 20 HT 2.4Ghz only(Vanilla), Disable 121
status: Semi - Operational 12h+
errors: router works with basic setup no VLAN's made yet...! Also lan ports are reversed

P.S. ive found the cool-print .. if any vlans and br are made SFE in my case NSS-ECM must be turned OFF ... as with it, there is no WAN....once i disabled it all was working...2 vlans, each on its own bridge and its own dchpd..all LAN1 and LAN2 tagged ... with some minimal testing, all works so far...
Not much time for..more...i can see some changes in the next build so im tempted... Cool

IONK I dont have any problems with WIFI but, i recommend to select a proper country domain as not all of them work as they should...or at least as full power...and make ACK timing correct either 450, 900 1350 and ect i use 900 Smile ... Ive no problems with DHCP and clients... but on this build SFE is my issue here as no WAN with it..
