DD-WRT and Network novice here with a quick issue/question. I downloaded this build [Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r56029 std (04/27/24)] on my Netgear R7200. This is my first experience with DD-WRT (or any open source firmware for my Router for that matter).
I have followed the basic and advanced wireless setup guides and was working on optimizing my TX/RX Antenna Chains (my signal quality was poor on my wireless networks) and I discovered an issue with TX Power, specifically on the 2.4ghz. When I select the '1+3' TX Antenna Chain, my TX Power is limited to a max value of 4 dBm?
This is resulting in slower speeds (TX/RX Rates) for my 2.4ghz network. Is there a way to bypass the max power (i'm assuming is a mistake or typo) or what is the best way optimize my networks signal quality and speeds with these issues?
Thanks for any help in advance and I appologize if I'm not addressing this issue correctly in the forum.
