Router/Version: Netgear_R6220/Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r57200 std (07/08/24)
Time: 11:13:17 up 28 min, load average: 1.42, 1.41, 1.22
File/Kernel: GUI Upgrade/Linux version 4.14.348-openela-rt159 (root@linux) (gcc version 13.1.0 (OpenWrt GCC 13.1.0 r22658+9-2c530fcb97)) #5207 SMP Mon Jul 8 07:36:52 +07 2024l 15 13:07:15 +06 2023
Previous/Reset: r53221/No & Yes
Mode/Status: Gateway/Router/AP, VLAN's, Bridging, Port forwarding, etc....
Issues/Errors: No problems with r57200. It is the version I've had working for quite some time. I made several attempts to upgrade and/or simply build from scratch. Unfortunately each attempt resulted in BRICKING the router.
I've attempted the following versions and each time the result was a bricked router.
Version r58124
Version r58531
Version r58694
I used nmrpflash to recover each time
https://github.com/jclehner/nmrpflash
I've currently shelved the router and have accepted the fact that it is several years old. Although, if there happens to be a solution for it, I would like to bring it up to the latest version. |

Need serial logs for flash and boot for anything 58694 or 58699. I don't recall any issues with flashing upgrades from 57200, however, CLI flash output from ssh/telnet may also yield pertinent information that would be helpful. The following commit was to fix a bootloop issue previously reported elsewhere on more current releases:
https://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/58692
Without reports in 58694 and 58699 threads, along with serial and system logs, I can only reply to the previous email with developer and cross my fingers. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
