Long time user - first time poster.

This is a learning exercise for me. I'm ready for the tough love.

Model: R7450 (AC2600)
FCCID: py316200344

GUI flashed successfully to latest:
https://ftp.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2024/06-08-2024-r56721/netgear-r7450/factory-to-ddwrt.img

Then I blew it. I immediately webflashed the same build. It wasn't until after hours of digging that I stumbled across this thread where Per Yngve Berg says:
Quote:
No need to update when the fsctory-to-ddwrt.img and the .bin file is the same version.

I can get the router into tftp mode by holding the reset button while powering on and waiting for the power light to change from amber to flashing white.

I'm using Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS to talk to the router.
IPV6, WLAN, and bluetooth are all disabled

192.168.1.10 answers pings with ttl=64
192.168.1.1 remains unresponsive.

Any tips? Do I toss it and start over?

Use nmrpflash to flash the factory-to-ddwrt.img file, future upgrades use the r7450-webflash.bin via DD-WRT webUI.

Many thanks, KP69. I'll update to the latest after the dust settles. Phew!
