Router/Version: TP-Link TL-WR841ND v11
Update method: WebUpgrade
File/Kernel: tl-wr841nd-webflash.bin_r56820 / Linux 3.18.140-d6 #203837 Wed Jun 12 13:57:51 +07 2024 mips
Previous/Reset: r56721 / no
Mode/Status: AP wired and wireless / Up and running for 5:53 hours
Issues/Errors: Nothing significant

The fact is that the router connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the orange WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). Internet is working, I just think it's a glitch

Thank you BS and gurus!

Router/Version: Netgear R7800 x 3
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r56820 std (06/12/24)
Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r56721 std (06/08/24), last reset at r56182
Mode/Status: Gateway (SFE Enabled), Access Point (DD-WRT firmware,2.4GHz, 5GHZ, WPA2/WPA3, 802.11r/v/k), IPV6 (DHCP6 w/ prefix delegation), Entware, DOT via SmartDNS/DNSMasq, OpenVPN server, Wireguard Server + 2 wired access points (DD-WRT firmware,2.4GHz, 5GHZ, WPA2/WPA3, 802.11r/v/k)
Issues/Errors:
Up 5 hours. USB 2.0 working properly for Entware and "jffs" partitions. Speed (tested via nPerf.com) is very close to published, which is equal or favorable to the ISP router. Wireguard and OpenVPN servers both working as expected and throughput sufficient to open video files on network shares.

Tried setting Shortcut Forward Engine to SFE and the IPv6 issues I've previously reported are no longer occurring. Similarly, I had seen some port forwarding issues when SFE was enabled, and those also are resolved.

My internet service isn't really fast enough to max out the R7800 without SFE, but I'm seeing about a 10% increase in wired speed with SFE on. Still need to test speed on wireless. I have not tested any of the NSS options yet.

Thank you Brainslayer.

Had a random reboot about 20 minutes after posting the above. Then I had a second reboot about 15 minutes later. Turned off SFE and it's been up for 5 hours without reboots.

Thanks for the update on SFE, I had reboots on the previous build and had to turn it off, and it is still running without reboots going on 12 days.

When I update to this build I will remember to turn it off again.

I'm sure Brainslayer will find the cause.

that weired issue makes me head scratching

btw. does the same issue occure if you use the ecm-sfe variant? (its a different code)

I am away for a week and won't be able to test using ecm-sfe code until I return, perhaps dpp3530 would be so kind as to test this and give feedback before I return and update Very Happy

When I turn on any of the NSS variants, I lose IPv6 and the port forwarding I need for Verizon Remote DVR. Sorry, but I'm out on any further testing than that.
