I have a Netgear R7800 flashed with DD-WRT v3.0-r55779 std (04/12/24)
I am trying to add a QoS rule for bittorrent. I click the "Add Service" button, enter details of the ports/protocol etc, bit when I click Save or Apply Settings I get a "This page isn't working" error. This appears immediately if I click Save, and takes a bit longer if I click "Apply Settings" (in this case I get a "Processing...please wait" message in between.
The changes that I am trying to make are not being saved.
I've tried both Chrome and Edge browsers (on Windows 11).
The browser cache may need to be cleared.
This should be done after every firmware update
CTRL+F5
Otherwise, cached data may corrupt the entire WebIF.
This also happens if another WebIF from a different firmware was accessible under this IP address.
Thanks. OK I tried Ctrl-F5 (and also Shift-F5 - I wasn't sure which was correct). Still get the error. I also tried it from a different machine and got the same error.
works here without any problems
by the way, the name "bittorrent" is already taken
Therefore I have changed the name
I have also tried "Bittorrent" - it also works but you can't select it in the service list.
Strange. I have exactly the same details as you (and changed the name to Bittorrent2), and I still get the error whenever I try to save or apply the settings.
Will try rebooting the router to see if that helps...
Sorry my mistake...I misunderstood the UI...I thought that applying the change would add the service to the main list. It actually adds it to the dropdown list, from where I can then add it to the main list.
Now I get it.
Doh!
