Hello,

I want to purchase this router, but there is some confusion when i check it in your router database.

https://www.tp-link.com/br/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-c80/
Here it state Archer c80 AC1900

But in your database TP-Link AC1900 is Archer C9(0)?

So my question is, is this router suited for DD-WRT?
It seems both - C80 and C90 are suited for DD-WRT - , but i don't want to order and get disappointed, hence my question.

I hope this question is added in the right forum, if not excuse me... Embarassed

The C1900 in the database and supported devices wiki is the Broadcom Archer C9. The C80 is MediaTek, and is NOT supported in DD-WRT - Support generally requires a hardware donation to add support when the developer finds the mood.

"TE7C90" FCC ID search goes nowhere, although it's listed on TP-Link's website as a valid model:

So, there is no telling if it's MediaTek, Atheros, etc. - but it is also NOT supported.

In other words, do not waste your money unless you are going to buy one to be shipped to the developer or you are a developer yourself or have the skills to provide what is required to add the device.
