DD-WRT v3.0-r55460 std (03/25/24) on Asus RT-AC68U B1
To avoid massive hassle with my ISP, I'm using an ISP provided router for DHCP and have the dd-wrt router behind it. DD-wrt router is set to "Automatic Configuration - DHCP" with a local IP address of 192.168.0.1/24. DD-wrt router has an IP assigned by the ISP router of 192.168.1.XXX (WAN IP shown in dd-wrt as well). When I try to access the gui of the dd-wrt router at 192.168.1.XXX, I'm not able to access it for some reason. Clients connected to the dd-wrt router are connected to internet and everything short of accessing dd-wrt gui seems to be working for me.
Am I missing something obvious here (IP range, subnet etc)?
If I understand this correctly, you need to access the router through its local IP, not the address assigned by your ISP's router. That would be on the WAN side. I can access it from dd-wrt LAN (connecting directly to dd-wrt via cable or wireless) but I cannot access it from ISProuter LAN (192.168.1.XXX IP assigned to the dd-wrt router by ISProuter LAN does not take me to dd-wrt web gui when trying to access it from another device in the same ISProuter subnet.) Why would this not work?
