I have two WDS Stations. Both are EA8500s. The settings are exactly the same for both, originally set up from the Wiki.
The first is from my Gateway EA8500 router > EA8500 in Livingroom. The second is from my garage R7800 > EA8500 also in garage, only to keep from running and hiding an ethernet cable (it's a huge garage).
The EA8500 > EA8500 is getting 1170 up and 1300 down in adjacent rooms.
The R7800 > EA8500 is only getting 720 up and 720 down and can literally "see" each other at two opposite corners.
Is this simply incompatibilities between the two slightly different chipsets, or something else?
All routers mentioned are on r53562. _________________ - Linksys EA8500: I-Gateway, WAP/VAP 5ghz only. Features: VLANs, Samba, WG, Entware - r60xxx
