Broadcast SSID disabled but always active

hi,

I just set up an access point via LAN, so I disabled the router's wifi, but I noticed in the network scanner that it is always active in hidden mode. Is this behavior normal in dd-wrt? thanks


Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r55209 std (02/27/24)
Router: WRT3200ACM

even though it is disabled, it always transmits

Show the settings you used to deactivate the radio

The option "SSID Broadcast" does not deactivate the WLAN but is the switch for visible/invisible

If you want to deactivate the radio you have to set the "Network Mode" to disabled
