Archer C7 v2... running smooth since switched to OpenWrt

I used DD-WRT for years on this router and it was a total nightmare. Every time the router got rebooted it seemed to get screwed up. Many times I had to reset and re-configure DD-WRT. Tried numerous versions recommended on here and nothing fixed it.

I finally got sick and tired of DD-WRT yesterday. Was looking at alternatives and found this page: https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer_c7
Followed the instructions to switch firmware via TFTP. Switched to OpenWrt. All is good now. It seems way more stable than DD-WRT. I would highly recommend making the switch to anyone else struggling with DD-WRT on these routers.

I won't say DD-WRT is garbage, but in my experience on my Archer C7 v2, it was extremely poor software, very unreliable.
