Unable to shutdown dd-wrt on proxmox

Hi,
I've installed version 54420 on proxmox (x64. vga).
When I try to shutdown / poweroff / reboot it doesn't work (from the dd-wrt cmd or from the proxmox interface )
on the console there is a message, "sorry your unit does not support resetbutton feature" and it seems to restart some services instead of shutting down.
any way around this as it prevents from proxmox itself to reboot unless I stop (kill) the dd-wrt VM ?

turns out proxmox has a timeout after which it force kill active VMs, so that is one way to solve my issue.
