Dear sirs:
We're thinking about getting a Netgear Nighthawk X10 and we are trying to follow the instructions
on wiki.dd-wrt.com and have arrived at this download: 11-09-2023-r53939 and have arrived at this thread but we don't see any reference to the Netgear router.

We are trying to find out how well the most recent dd-WRT works with this router. Is this the right thread or should we be posting in another?

Thanks for helping out and have a wonderful evening! Smile

Mod edit: topic split from New Build - 11/09/2023 - r53939 (Broadcom)

You absolutely should not be running the bleeding edge beta threads on a router that you are considering purchasing unless you are a dd-wrt expert. The Netgear r9000 is supported and to find the best build for it if you don't want to use the router database - which you should look at - you need to search for the router model number and look at any build threads for newer builds that someone has tested the build on the router and reported it was working well.

Took the liberty of splitting your post(s) to the proper forum as you were posting in Broadcom
and your router is considered Atheros because of the wifi hardware. Please do a little further
reading as already advised, starting with:

Announcement: Atheros Forums FAQ – README

And all the linked threads and wiki articles, including Firmware FAQ and Supported Devices.
