Hi All,
<First-timer here, please excuse any errors>
I got a dd-wrt flashed router from someone on facebook, and it is TP-Link AC1200 Archer C5 V1.2
They seem to have already flashed it with V3.0-r51589.
But according to documentation here https://dd-wrt.com/support/router-database/?model=Archer%20C5%20(AC1200)_1.x the maximum version is #44715.
How would that be possible? Did they change it to C7? (If yes, can I update dd-wrt version?)
My usecase is to use this router as a wireguard client, and the tutorial here https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=324624 says that I would need dd-wrt version #52054 or beyond.
But I am not sure how can all these things be true at the same time?

By the link you shared, above...is there a section with a tag DISCLAIMER what does it say ??

make sure your router version will match...
also router C5 v1 has lots of threads related to, do a search on "archer-c5-v1 ddwrt" happy reading...
