Not with those instructions. The development-related wikis are unmaintained. Perhaps sir @egc will see this thread and chime in to help, but you may run into issues unless he can compile a complete image for you as you can't load the modules on a USB stick and connect your phone at the same time... _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

After some searching (if you were thinking of using JFFS to store the kernel modules), I've found that this router most likely does not support JFFS, even on current builds, so your point is possibly moot unless you somehow manage to get a USB hub to work.
WRT160NL jffs , ssh , usb support _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

well, was counting with jffs if not available it will complicate a bit even having some workarounds in my mind without USB HUB but original idea was to be just a "plug and play" solution without complicate to much the usage.
Have preference for dd-wrt due several reasons but maybe in this particular case will use openwrt, but it's pity coz is just a very small module missing to make it work.
Just for my own (or others) reference, compile new modules is still possible with available info or not that straight forward in current releases?
