Hi all!
has anyone been able to configure DDWRT on the Linksys WRT3200ACM to work as a range extender (repeater bridge mode)?
Asking this as the only modes available are AP, Client, Client Bridge, Adhoc, WDS Station and WDS AP.
Thanks for your attention 🙂

Repeater Bridge mode is not available on Marvell. Use WDS.

Hi Dale,

I think I will use the Client mode as described in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=triQAMF3oEs&t=167s

This seems to do the trick.. What do you think?

Thank you,

This may not be still in effect but if you try to extend the 5Ghz the channel must be set to 100. Although I use WDS the client-bridge also works, but then again remember to use channel 100. Once the link is established simply add a VAP to the 5Ghz and you now have an extender for the 5Ghz. The 2.4Ghz will already be available as an AP.

Hope this helps, I have been using this type of configuration for a few years now.
