Hi,
I have this router for sometimes and bought a Nighthawk and now I'll like to use (Buffalo router) as a Wireless Bridge but the documentation manual I have shows a UI (user interface) panels very different that the one I have accessing the router (looks that mine are very old). I don't know much about routers, so I'm afraid to make changes without proper documentation.
I'll appreciate help making the changes to have it as WB.
Thanks,
Wherever it says Client Bridge, the new release with have Station Bridge
This is going by the premise that you are talking about using that and not Repeater Bridge mode. But, the caveat is that you can only use Client mode on Broadcom ARM, anyway:
Broadcom ARM: dhd driver models (e.g. AC5300 routers) cannot support CB (nor repeater bridge) modes since the driver is controlled by wireless firmware internal to the chipset. This makes it impossible to implement fake bridge modes, and is not fixable. While it can sometimes work without encryption, there is no guarantee nor official support. The driver will usually crash in these modes.

Hi,
My idea was to use the Buffalo router to extend the wireless network of the Nighthawk, i.e. as a repeater, to cover locations where the Nighthawk doesn't provide a stable wireless connection.
Do I understand correctly that this will not work, since the end clients will always be wireless and not wired?
Thanks for your help,
Udis
This mode is NOT for WIRED connections between two routers! It is a wireless connection only.
