As always, the Quantenna chip has its own characteristics. It is a closed source chipset
Can't set channel. You can't disable 5.0 GHz either. Even through the schedule menu.
Set transmitter power 1 mW
The fact is that the router is connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the red WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). The internet works, I just think it's a glitch.

Really not necessary, but I did email BS about updating these (quite hesitantly, I might add). The community doesn't necessarily have to drive development other than reporting bugs - it is considered a "bully move" (the words BS has used himself more than once). I'm pretty sure that *OpenVPN* update will require sir @egc's input and testing. Please be considerate of others, return tray to upright position, and prepare for landing. Thanks. /off-topic _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Factory Reset: No
Mode: AP
Status: Everything seems to be working except...
Issues: I keep getting random client disconnects, a family members laptop disconnected from the network around 4-5 times yesterday. This morning my phone and tv were disconnected and had to be reconnected again. Under system information -> wireless -> clients the uptime never makes it past one hour but that doesn't seem to coincide with the disconnects.
I suppose I should factory reset and reconfigure but that would require more time than I currently have along with being a gigantic pain. Kind of wish I never updated at this point.
I would like to attempt to flash using CLI. Reading from @blkt post

Can you please review if this is the correct commands for Netgear R7000. In particular for the syntax of the 'write {file} linux' command.
Code:
cd /tmp
curl -O https://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2023/06-02-2023-r52869/netgear-r7000/netgear-r7000-webflash.bin
write netgear-r7000-webflash.bin linux
reboot
