i would like to ask how to setup my DD WRT linksys with different ISP IP address which is 192.168.254.254 before i use 192.168.1.1 which easy to setup with ddwrt but use different isp now which ip address is different from before
i use repeater bridge before and i don't have problem
but now with this new IP from my new ISP 192.168.254.254 i cant connect my linksys
please help me. thank you
Visual clues (screenshots) from both devices would definitely be a big help as everyone is geographically displaced from your location. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

As long as your DD-WRT LAN is using private network addressses different from your ISP's, WAN and NAT should continue to work.
You can set your DD-WRT router to use 10.0.0.1/255.255.255.0 as IP address and set DHCP to distribute the same range of IP addresses to LAN (both wired and wireless). There is no need to insist on 192.168.x.x, especially when your ISP is distributing those IP addresses to you and other customers.
You need to FIRST disconnect WAN, set up your DD-WRT to use 10.0.0.1/255.255.255.0 and reboot, *BEFORE* connecting back the WAN. This step might have been your problem. This method also means your DD-WRT possibly does NOT need to use Repeater Mode??
(I wish I didn't misunderstand your question! And my ISP does not hand out 192.168.x.x addresses to me.) _________________ Router: Asus RT-N18U (rev. A1)

Before you changed ISP, was your DD-WRT working as a Repeater-Bridge? What IP addresses was your preivous ISP handing out? Also 192.168.x.x?
I surely have never used the Wireless Repeater Bridge Mode.

If a wireless client lost connection to the wifi router possibly due to signal strength or interference, it's easier for the client to first disconnect then connect again instead of waiting for an automatic reconnection.
In Wireles -> Basic Settings, try changing Channel. It's recommended not to use "Auto". Your DD-WRT is now a wireless repeater, which needs 2 channels to work I believe. The 2 channels must not overlap with each other then.
You might also go to Wirelss -> Advanced Settings -> Advanced Settings -> TX Power to check signal strength.
