CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (http only) or 'curl -O {file URL}' (http, https, ftp). 'write {file} linux' then 'reboot'.

Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.
• Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!

Important:
• Detail issues & relevant configs, logs: syslog klog 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' nvram set console_debug=1, serial.
• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Misc: strace tcpdump wireshark.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.

Issues/Errors: CLI flashing 52485 webflash.bin resulted in a bricked unit (apart from one reported bad block in the CLI flash log, appears nothing of consequence). Returned to Netgear stock firmware then upgraded to 52485 using factory-to-ddwrt.img So far no issues.

Comments: Used CLI flash as previous attempts to upgrade via WebUI would brick the router (Power and USB light alternately flash). Brick is recoverable by flashing stock Netgear firmware (Firmware Version 1.1.0.88 as of this post) using nmrpflash to the router (NOTE: Unplug internet connection to avoid having to sign up for Netgear account - Click "no compatible smartphone" at bottom) then upgrading from Netgear UI using factory-to-ddwrt.img

For testing purposes, after reaching into dd-wrt UI with 52485, I attempted to downgrade to first supported build for R6350 (45820) via CLI to see if that would be successful as it was suggested by kernel-panic69 that it might be a size issue that's causing the bricking of the router:

however the router still bricked, so repeated steps above to Netgear stock firmware and then factory-to-ddwrt.img back to 52485

Note: Original reasoning for upgrade in the first place was due to slow WiFi performance on 2.4Ghz. Flashed build 52432 (eventually finding it was broken), then after seeing a comment about someone using build 49626, I flashed that build and it appeared fine and WiFi performance on 2.4Ghz was much better, however the WAN port would lose internet connectivity randomly, hence started to look into alternatives.
