It is a shell script you run it from the routers Command line (telnet/putty).
Copy script to tmp (e.g. with WinSCP)
Adapt to your needs. see the instructions in the script.
Make executable with: chmod +x ddwrt-mount-usb-drives.sh
To see the script in action execute with: sh -x /tmp/ddwrt-mount-usb-drives.sh
If the script is to your liking copy the script to Administration/Commands and Save as USB.
the script will then be executed after the USB drives are online, not 100% sure if this works it can be a catch 22 situation.
I never used it, for serious NAS duties I use a serious NAS (QNAP pro 453 with 4 8TB drives in RAID 5).
My routers have just one USB stick
Your a good man, thanks for all the time and effort you have given to help me get my USB NAS running. Just need to sort the media side of things now so my LG TV discovers them.
