Router/Version: DIR-882-A1 DD-WRT v3.0-r52369 std (04/20/23)
File/Kernel: Linux 4.14.310 #3720 SMP Thu Apr 20 02:08:25 +06 2023 mips
Previous/Reset: r43397, i live fast and loose so no reset.
Mode/Status: 2.4GHz/5GHz WAP
Issues/Errors: minor issue with the ntpclient "Apr 27 09:48:55 WNDR3700 daemon.err process_monitor[6182]: cyclic NTP Update failed (servers pool.ntp.org)"
Hopefully this release will resolve the issue i had with 43397, where one or both radios would just drop at random and require a router reboot.
Router/Version: Netgear R6850
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r52369 std (04/20/23) / Linux 4.14.310 #3721 SMP Thu Apr 20 02:13:23 +06 2023 mips
Previous/Reset: factory-to-ddwrt.img 04/20/23 / reset yes
Mode/Status: 2.4GHz/5GHz WAP/Gateway / default config except: Time Zone, Enable: SSH, Remote Access Web UI & SSH, Services- USB core, Storage & Automount
Issues/Errors: No detection or mounting of USB flash drives. Drives with with any of FAT32, EXT3/EXT4, NTFS partitions tried.
My experience with the usb storage config on my WRT350N is that the automount was always fast acting and listed attached partitions within seconds of attachment. Now on this R6850 everything is working so far but this has me stumped. Tried resetting again, different attached drives, no luck getting any readout and the drives never "lit up" once.
Otherwise stable and quick, buit would be nice to have access to storage for many purposes includeing the new built-in web server, ftp, dlna. But storage first.
Thx, hope my doc helps. Available for further info.

I gave up trying to get the USB port to light up a usb flash drive with this build. Went and down-graded to r46690 (first release R6850 support added) from this r52369 build and had exactly the same result - cannot mount USB drives. Default config, only admin password set and Core USB Support, USB Sorage Support, and Automatic Drive Mount enabled.
I used nmrpflash and flashed the Netgear latest release OEM firmware successfully and behold!
The USB functionality all works perfectly!
So NOT a hardware issue, it seems.
Any chance the USB drive function can be fixed for the R6850 DD-WRT builds?
I'm staying with OEM firmware for now until there's some kind of movement here, I need the USB storage to work so I can make use of several of the DD-WRT services unavailable in OEM. Like a customizable web server.
