I have a streaming app on a Roku device that refuses to run unless my vpn is disabled. I've been researching articles about PBR, Routing Tables, scripts etc and will follow info like "DDWRT Using built-in PBR-v6-1.pdf" and other resources before starting. My intent is to have my Roku to bypass my vpn

Before doing so I want to be sure that I can't simply use the "Source Routing (PBR)" option and the setting "Route selected sources via WAN" located on the OpenVPN Client setup page.

Selecting this opens an input box that suggest I can simply add sources (Roku?) to be routed via WAN with all others remaining via the vpn. This seems too simple to be true???

Can't find any articles that directly address this setting in depth so far. Guessing it is a "first step" and other tables/scripts etc would need to be created to make it work as intended. It would be nice it it was just that easy.

If this can be done could someone post the correct format for entering sources? My devices are on Static Leases if that useful.

If I'm misunderstanding the purpose of this setting . . that would be good to know as well.
