The hardware of the router does not support 20dB on the frequency and never will.

I'm analyze this problem and I'm found this value in nvram - wlan1_txpwrdbm=20 though in GUI I see 15 only on SysInfo page and on configuration page is different value. I think this problem should be fixed. Other users have similar problem with TX Power parameter on newer DD-WRT builds (some Netgear models and almost ever Tp-Link) I don't remember how TX Power was in old builds, but currently on my device WIFI module works weak. I use only 5GHz module and 2,4GHz is turned off.

@thommy181

Does not matter what you enter there.
It clearly says MAX TX 19, so you won't see 20dB.

And even if the GUI says "max 30" it does not mean that this power is allowed on the selected channels.
The actual power depends on the selected channel, the regulatory domain and the chipset restrictions.

And your router has a weak 5Ghz amplifier, it will never have a proper 5ghz transmit power.
Your router's radios also have an EEPROM and their own power table.
You can set what you want, the radio will do what it wants.

test channel 108 maybe it will show the 19dB in the WLAN status

the following command could give information about the allowed transmit power

Code:
iw list | grep dBm

I'm check parameters with this command. I can't have more than 19 on 5 GHz. On 2.4 GHz my device have only 20. That's rather small value, but it's hardware restriction and I understand that.
