Router Model: Linksys EA6900 (XVortex CFE)

Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r52054M Community Build (03/17/23)
Kernel Version: Linux 4.4.302-st37 #1 SMP Fri Mar 17 18:51:26 CET 2023 armv7l

Upgraded from DD-WRT v3.0-r52006M Community Build (03/13/23) via telnet (update via GUI not possible because nvram is placed on linux partition and not linux2 partition due to Xvortex CFE)

Reset: No not this time.

Configuration: Default gateway mode, 2,4GHz wireless running with unbridged VAP, 5GHz running, some static leases and some port range forwarding.
WireGuard client running with PBR.
OpenVPN client with PBR running.

NVRAM size 47K (NVRAM size should not be a problem with the Xvortex CFE)

Status: Up and stable for 24 hours

Errors: none so far

Thanks BS!!

These last few versions brick my RT-AC68U unless I do a factory reset. But then when I setup QoS again, it's bricked again. At one stage it bricked before I even got to the QoS settings page. So I'm forced to use r51679, it's the only recent version I'm aware of that is stable with this router. r51787 and newer I know for sure are broken.

So the router was bricked only after you altered and applied settings in the NAT/QoS->QoS page?

Did you wait long enough for things to settle? Sometimes the router needed to boot 2 times in order to use certain functions.

Did you turn off then turn on the router after firmware upgrade?

That's correct, QoS page, although it did once actually brick while I was setting up WiFi, which I do in the early steps (QoS is done last). Only way to recover was recovery mode 192.168.1.10/192.168.1.1 recovery page.
