Asus RT-AC68U .trx sizes?

Hi all,

I've seen that the DD-WRT .trx files for the AC68U tend to be in the 25-26K size range, while the Asus stock firmware appears to be in the 90-100K size range. The Merlin firmware also appears to be in the same 90-100K size range.

Is this normal? Is there something that needs to be flashed to the router besides just the .trx file?

The sizes are correct. The Asus OEM firmware contains more than one
Firmware image for multiple models in one file, that is why it’s bigger.

For ac68u firmwares on DD-WRT, normal size is about 26-27MB…
