DD-WRT: r50474
Router: Netgear R9000
I have configured DD-WRT to send syslog messages to an external syslogd. Working well, except it logs many trivial things (like connection to NTP server).
I can't find in the GUI a way to set the severity level for sent syslogs. (I do see it for firewall logging, but not for other syslogs).
I would like to set syslog severities at a minimum level of "Warning".
Thank you.

if you set the firewall log to any settings, there will be lots of firewall related..
otherwise the major bad firewall events will be logged, even without setting any firewall level..
On the new builds there is a setting at NTP time down the bottom at basic setup page, to set the NTP time renewal intervals, so less stuff in the logs...mine is set to 43200 (12H)my preff..
otherwise via CLI (ssh)
nvram set ntp_timer=43200
nvram commit
reboot
i personally use the firewall log level (medium or any) only for diagnose and tracing stuff only, I dont use it in general...
