I assume this might be due to a horrible lack of understading - sorry.
Current setup: OPNsense router and DD-WRT AP with a trunkport between them. The VLAN's sort of work, but I have connection issues and OPNsense is flooding IP conflict messages for addresses (ex 192.168.3.1) when DD-WRT is connected.
The examples I can find searching seems to have bridging set up like me, but I can't figure out why DD-WRT seems to cause IP conflicts and issues for traffic between VLAN's.
Is the issue related to the IP address defined in the bridge? Example:
IP: 192.168.3.1
Mask: 255.255.255.0
I figured that just ment: bridge traffic for 192.168.3.0/24? Does the AP occupy one IP per bridge?
You will want to reset to defaults after upgrading via button, DD-WRT webUI, or nvram erase && reboot via telnet or ssh, and reconfigure from scratch. Suggested to save current config pages for reference. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
