I have to make a remark, starting with version v3.0-r51855 I noticed that ipv6 does not work on the mobile phone, otherwise on all the devices in the house ipv6 worked including the smart TV.
I changed the ipv6 Prefix Length from 64 to 56 and surprisingly the phone received ipv6, strangely after 10 minutes after switching to 56 I managed to have ipv6 again on the phone with settings again Prefix Length 64!

Today again the new version r51887 the same problem, only the phone did not receive ipv6, I said to reboot the router, although after updating the software and configuring the settings, I reboot the router, the problem persists, I thought of rebooting the ONT, surprise ipv6 works on phone!

Do you think that ipv6 gets stuck somewhere and DDWRT fails to allocate ipv6 correctly?

My provider offers me internet via fiber optic with ONT set in bridge mode, and wrt1900acs v2 with ddwrt is connected from it.

connection Type PPPoE - dynamic IPv6 prefix /64 via DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation (RFC 3769) 1Gbps

Hi.

Sorry if this is off-topic or poorly worded or just plain offensive and inappropriate.

I am a first time dd-wrt user (Hi!). I have a WRT1900ACS V1 that has not had a firmware update since the early 1800's so I figured it was time to do something about that and get some neat new features in my router as a bonus.

Flashing was scary. Made some mistakes, but go there in the end. I finally got r51887 going and setup the user and password in the web interface. So far so good.

The problems started immediately after this. Anytime I clicked save after having done _any_ change to any setting to any value the web-interface crashed and required a reboot before it came back each time. Countless countless attempts at resets and wiping nvram ensued. Re-flashing. Re-downloading with both wget & curl. Etc.

It took me hours before I finally tried to use a "Private Window" for my browser, and suddenly everything worked. Saving & applying no longer crashed the web-interface. I tried switching to a different browser and it also worked without issues (Microsoft Edge) and dit _not_ need to be in a private window.

So. I have no idea what it is, but for me, using Brave "normally" nukes the web-interface when I try to save/apply settings and I need to reboot the router before it comes back.

I know ssh/telnet and linux a bit, so if I can get some commands to run to get any logs if anyone is interested I would be more than happy to provide!

But I really just wanted to point out to anyone googling for problems with the web interface in dd-wrt crashing to find this advice: Try a private browser window or a different browser.

Thanks!

This is a known problem - clear your browser cache CTRL+F5

This is always necessary when some changes have been made to the WebIF and new options have been added.
Then the cached WebIF displays errors like "undefined" etc.

I swear I tried clearing cookies/cache/history. But I suspect Brave is just a bit extra weird on top.

Plenty of browsers to choose from. Most are ESR based, included bleeding edge 110+ versions for good measure.
