Welcome to Atheros r51887 beta release thread for reporting, feedback to developers and community benefit.
Please do not flash builds until installation is understood, risks involved and device specificrecovery methods.
Avoid discussions, create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
List router model & version or revision, operating & wireless modes & exact filename/firmware image flashed.
CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (httponly) or 'curl -O {file URL}' (http, https, ftp). 'write {file} linux' then 'reboot'.
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.
• Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!
Important:
• Detail issues & relevant configs, logs: syslog klog 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' nvram set console_debug=1, serial.
• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Misc: stracetcpdumpwireshark.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.

Status - reverted back to 51787.
My setup utilizes host files on an SMB share connected to this router via usb drive and is referenced in addional config options as a hosts line. other services, DHCP, Inadyn, QOS, WDSAP 5GHZ 80, AP 2.4GHz,DNS, dnscrypt
there appears to be something not right with the SMB and DNSMasq in my config. SMB would not be available over the network at all, however minidlna worked fine.
DNSMasq would not serve dhcp addresses until manually restarted, despite server being up.
Even afterit was up, which then suddenly made SMB available to wireless apple clients, if you accessed the smb share, the iphone 14 dropped the connection to wifi within a few seconds later
went back to 51787 and all is well

When yo use this newest build on this model your Settings -> switch config tab is configurable ? Actually I'm stay on build 02/07/23, becuase when I'm touch options in settings -> switch config tab then click save and click apply settings router totally stop respond. I can't use wired connection internet, GUI, ssh management. I can solve problems with restore factory defaults and make fresh configuration. All features operating until I try to reconfigure switch options. Cause that problem is exist I'm decide to use older build where all features work good.

10-11-2022-r50474 through 11-23-2022-r50931 vanilla is good crc32 4716237b, no builds r50932 through r50962.
However, I am willing flash any test builds to step through or bisect to isolate exactly which changeset crash begins.
