Welcome to Atheros r51787 beta release thread for reporting, feedback to developers and community benefit.
Please do not flash builds until installation is understood, risks involved and device specific recovery methods.
Avoid discussions, create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
List router model & version or revision, operating & wireless modes & exact filename/firmware image flashed.

CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (http only) or 'curl -O {file URL}' (http, https, ftp). 'write {file} linux' then 'reboot'.

Downloads: HTTPS, FTP

Trac SVN: repository since last build 51741 (mirror)

• OpenVPN 2.6.0: Changelog, Guides, Server, PBR, DNS, Kill Switch, Watchdog, Reverse PBR, Client, Multiple, tips & scripts.
• WireGuard 1.0.20211208/Tools: Changelog, Guides, Client, Server, Adv, PBR, KS, tips & scripts. Thanks BS egc & eibgrad!

Notes:
• mDNS/Avahi ~2023 K syslog WG DD dnsmasq DNSCrypt Unbound FW wolfSSL Tor PHP Plex K FW XMSN WG NFS nDPI DRV
• In-kernel SMB (ksmbd/tools 3.4.6/3.4.5): guest user is selectable. • WSD update • ANTFS/NTFS3 kernel mode driver++++

Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.
• Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!

Important:
• Detail issues & relevant configs, logs: syslog klog 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' nvram set console_debug=1, serial.
• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Misc: strace tcpdump wireshark.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.

Previous/Reset: r51741 / no
Mode/Status: AP wired and wireless / Up and running for 3 hours
Issues/Errors: Nothing significant

The fact is that the router connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the orange WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). Internet is working, I just think it's a glitch

I am getting "curl: (60) SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired". I guess I have to wait for a new cert to be used on dd-wrt.com?

wget / curl / http / https

Yep, but I prefer the https connection and hope the expired cert is only a minimal pita to BS (assuming he runs this show.)

who knows 'bout that Rolling Eyes ....just thinking it should be setup to auto renew certs.
That's how my Apache is setup ...then again, when I switch webserver machines to one that ain't run in several months its certs will be expired and have to manually renew them right quick
tis always something to do AND whomever does DD-WRT will get it sorted soon I'm sure Wink

HTTPS cert still giving expiry error.
I got download last night by switching to a browser that allowed me to accept the risk - after viewing the cert - (Falkon on Linux) - Firefox was not having any of it.

no reset
as an ap the r9000 works really well on this build - however see below

r7800
WDS STA 5ghz, VAp 5ghz, 2.4GHZ

Errors - same as last 3 builds - WDS Station mode effectively disables the 5 GHz radio
