I installed v3.0-r51617 build from factory fw on a WRT3200ACM router of the weekend and couldn't get the DHCP server to assign adrs at all. Clients would connect but no internet access.

If I disable the DHCP server on the router and run the tftpd64 DHCP server on my PC, everything works great.

Anyone else have DHCP issues with this build?

I was going to try r51679 build and see if I had better luck.

Since there are no known problems, this will be a configuration error, as is usually the case.

If you reconfigure something then you have to take care that dd-wrt uses the CIDR format and that the DHCP range is correct.

You're probably right but I made minimal changes from the defaults.

Changed router adr from 192.168.1.1/24 to ..0.1/24 subnet.
Disabled Shortcut Forwarding Engine.
Changed start IP Adr on DHCP Server to ..0.20 with 230 max users.
And added some static IP addresses.
Changed Used Domain from the default WAN to LAN & WLAN option in Services tab.

I didn't setup JFFS2 support but I did try enabling the NVRAM option for the Client Lease DB but didn't make any difference.

It seemed pretty straight forward. I spent most of a day fiddling with it trying to get it to work until I gave up and ran a DHCP server on my media server machine and that took care of the DHCP issue.

But would like to get it working on the router. Any help, suggestions, or ideas would be appreciated.

Invalid entries in static leases?

Only alphanumeric characters and a hyphen are allowed.

It actually won't allow you to add the entry if it has any unsupported characters.
So Pretty sure those are ok. Actually it didn't work even before adding the static adrs.

The settings work for me, I just tested them.

I also had 1-2 times the problem that DCHP did not work - this could be easily fixed by pressing 1x on the tab services on apply.

It seems I fixed it. I don't know what the cause was but upgrading to r51679, resetting to factory defaults, and then setting my configuration again did the trick.
