well i do have few where i do have ssh remote mnt but thats all..
i would never use https remote for obvious reasons
today i did upgrade and checked again and on 4 units https rmt was set to 1
(enabled), no idea how and when it happened, especially on one R7800 witch i monitor closely..
somewhere around the new build threads i reported this find time ago and now it happens again
good lord i have a complex GUI pass, luckily i haven't seen unsuccessful https
log in attempts in the log yet …but…will keep eye on remote nvram values…
will try reset and recompile to see if it happens on clean start but to have it on 4 units
it was not me will check some other units later if i ve a time at all… _________________ Atheros

DDNS freedns.afraid.org IPv6 update doesn't. Looks to be updating IPv4 twice, if'n I'm reading this right?
In-a-dyn version 2.10.0 -- Dynamic DNS update client.
Startup delay: 30 sec ...
Update forced for alias hostname.domain.net, new IP# xxx.112.yyy.182
Update forced for alias hostname.domain.net, new IP# xxx.112.yyy.182
Updating cache for hostname.domain.net
Updating cache for hostname.domain.net
nslookup still only reports IPv4 record, so not just cosmetic.

Same as r51362... IPv6 appears to be WIP.

All good, otherwise.
I use noip.com which works and updates both IPv4 and IPv6

Previous/Reset: r50931 / yes
Mode/Status: Gateway / bad flash
Issues/Errors: yes.
Unsuccessful firmware installation. All new versions are broken since r50931
It is better to refrain from installing, having no experience in recovery

File/Kernel: tl-wr841nd-webflash.bin / Linux 3.18.140-d6 #161446 Thu Jan 19 07:33:55 +06 2023 mips
Previous/Reset: r51440 / no
Mode/Status: AP wired and wireless / Up and running for 2 hours
Issues/Errors: Nothing significant
The fact is that the router connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the orange WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). Internet is working, I just think it's a glitch
errors: For some odd reason...I keep seen remote_mgt_https=1 comes enabled by default on all my routers...and its not enabled in the GUI...by default ...so check yours
This might be a glitch in ssh remote being enabled. Or not. Just a guess. I haven't reviewed any code. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
