Router/Version: WRT1900AC v1
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r51362 std (01/16/23)
Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r51306 std (01/15/23), No reset this time, attempted IPV6 in DDNS (he.net)
Mode/Status: Gateway (SFE enabled), Access Point, IPV6 (DHCP6 w/ prefix delegation), Entware, DOT via SmartDNS, OpenVPN server, Wireguard Server, Privoxy
Issues/Errors:
Up 23 hours, nperf.com shows expected ISP speeds, both wired and wireless. OpenVPN, Wireguard, DOT, and Privoxy all working as expected.

Enabled IPV6 in the DDNS tab for he.net. Got the following errors:
Code:
In-a-dyn version 2.10.0 -- Dynamic DNS update client.
Update forced for alias vpn.mydomain.tld, new IP# xx.6.yy.4
Update forced for alias vpn.mydomain.tld, new IP# xx.6.yy.4
Fatal error in DDNS server response:
[200 OK]
Updating cache for vpn.mydomain.tld
Error response from DDNS server, ignoring ...

I just went in and added a dynamic AAAA record in the dns.he.net control panel. It may need time to replicate in their system.

Thanks devs

Router/Version: WRT1900ACv1
Kernel: Linux 4.9.337 #3601 SMP Mon Jan 16 04:42:54 +07 2023 armv7l
File: https://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2023/01-16-2023-r51362/linksys-wrt1900ac/factory-to-ddwrt.bin
Previous/Reset: Install to partition #2 from OEM Linksys firmware
Mode/Status: Expected to be Gateway device
Issues/Errors: Factory-to-ddwrt.bin would successfully upload but would not boot. It would try to start five time then switch back to OEM partition.

After several failed attempts I tried installing factory-to-ddwrt.bin using the serial recovery method. I never got this image to successfully boot. I used factory-to-ddwrt.bin for R48081 to install from OEM F/W then flashed ddwrt-linksys-wrt1900ac-webflash-r51362.bin onto the same partition to successfully finish the install.

This is what I captured on the serial port when the device reset.
It did this five time then rebooted into the OEM firmware on Partition#1.

Observation #2

Router/Version: WRT1900ACv1
Kernel: Linux 4.9.337 #3601 SMP Mon Jan 16 04:42:54 +07 2023 armv7l
File: https://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2023/01-16-2023-r51362/linksys-wrt1900ac/factory-to-ddwrt.bin
Previous/Reset: Install to partition #2 from OEM Linksys firmware
Mode/Status: Gateway, SFE-Disabled, Access Point, Entware, IPv4, NAS & Local FTP, Two Virtual WLANs, DNS Filtering via SafeDNS.
Issues/Errors: Device will show that it has an address assigned to the WAN port even when cable is disconnected from WAN port.

After the router boots successfully, it receives a WAN IP address via DHCP from a ADTRAN ONT device connected to ISP fiber optic network. Unplug the ethernet cable from the WAN port. The router continues to show that it has a WAN IP Address which will not go away until you visit Status/WAN and click DHCP Release button, then the WAN IPV4 changes to 0.0.0.0 as it should. Plug the cable back into the WAN port, the WAN is assigned an IP via DHCP. You can now repeat the steps above with the same results.

Other than this I have not experienced any problems or errors.

Any suggestions or requests how I could log this.

So far only thing I have to offer is this screen shot.
