TLDR : No option to active WireGuard on E2000 build 51275, what should I do?

I bought a cheap Linksys E2000 (https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Linksys_E2000) from marketplace with an old version of DD-WRT. I used this thread, https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=333602&highlight=e2000, to download the lastest build (dd-wrt.v24-51275_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv60k.bin) and now, I am running the Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r51275 mega (01/09/23).

I am trying to follow this guide, https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Wireguard, to create a WireGuard server to connect to my network from outside. Unfortunately, I don't find the WireGuard option under "Protocol Type" (View attachment). From what I understand, I only need to have 8MB of flash and a newish build to have WireGuard. Am I missing something?

You can post your questions in the Advanced networking forum.

According to the documentation WireGuard is available on most routers with 8 MB Flash and running Kernel 3.10 or higher so not on a K2.6 builds.

If you are running a K3 build and have resetted to defaults *after* upgrade and put settings in manually and have cleared your Browser cache (CTRL+F5) and it is still not available then report back.
