Hi, I have windwifi E0Q6 mesh router triple pack https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07SX44B2Q/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8 and was wondering if I could get ddwrt onto it as it's default firmware is rather basic, but I'm struggling to find any details for it. One site says it's based on a Qualcomm wifi-son chip, can't find anything else about it though. Any tips/ideas etc?
Thanks in advance.
IPQ4019 based hardware but have seen WINDWIFI described as AC2400, AC2600, AC3000 this is not a good sign.
Chances are there are numerous versions or revisions floating around, and these models are not easy to purchase.
Seems something dumped to amazon from alibaba/aliexpress, taobao, carousell so maybe buy a supported model?
I mean you can always donate hardware but I think this one squarely fits in the category of why bother, up to you.
Searching around, better donation candidate is kit RBK50 (Router RBR50, Satellite RBS50), there are also v2 each,
or maybe SRK60 (Router SRR60, Satellite SRS60) but other than these check out various supported models below.
Does it have an FCC ID? That's the quickest way to find information, if the device isn't already on WikiDevi, DeviWiki, etc. Agree 100% with hardware donation, as device support isn't just automatically possible. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
