Hi everyone, my new ISP requires VLAN tagging the WAN port.
I used the 'switch config' GUI to add vlan300 to WAN as shown in the screenshot. I then assigned vlan300 to WAN in the 'networking' tab.
All seemed to work well (ISP assigned an IP and I have connectivity via wifi), but then I noticed that the LAN ports do not have connectivity anymore. Nothing plugged in there shows up as a client in the router's interface and devices report an 'unidentified network'.
The screenshots show all the configurations I have tried, but I'm starting to believe the solution lies elsewhere. Please advice

Modern Broadcom Northstar should have their LAN on VLAN 1 and the WAN on VLAN 2
I would reset to defaults and while you are at it upgrade to the most recent build.
First upgrade and *after* the upgrade reset to defaults, from Command Line interface (telnet/Putty/SSH): nvram erase && reboot
Put settings in manually.
About VLAN, what you can try is just to use the Switch Config TAB:
1. Add VLAN with PVID 300
2. Untick the WAN port on VLAN2
3. Tick the WAN port on the just created VLAN300
4. You might need to tag this port, try with and without

How does this differ from what I have already tried?
Also, this is not how you add a tagged VLAN of 300 to the WAN port (only)... _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

Your LAN is on VLAN0 and normally it should be on VLAN1 for Broadcom northstar routers (older routers can use VLAN0)
Thanks! I copied the screenshot (added all LAN ports to vlan1) and that worked. I guess I should have tried that from your first reply, but they were on vlan0 by default so I dismissed that.
