EA8500
GUI install over r51040, no reset.
Was still updating after 3 mins.
GUI became unresponsive.
After physically turning it off/on, it came back up with r51184 and worked well.

Update: CLI r50500 > r51184
Reset: NO
Mode: Gateway
Status: Operational Minutes
WAN Connection Type: PPPoE
Services Used: DHCP Server, DNSMasq, USB Mount, conf-file=/jffs/dnsmasq.custom - Static Leases, IPv4, OVPN Obfuscated Server, 3 x Wireguard Commercial Client VPN's, 1 x VLAN for I-o-T, No Wireless Enabled On This Router, Wireless Mesh System Attached.
DNS: Unbound Pi-Hole
Errors: None so far * other than hard reboot to show USB mount correctly *
After rebooting, I had no WAN service from DDWRT. Rebooted again, then cold booted, no change. I did a DHCP renew, twice, on the WAN page and then all was normal. I looked at the message log and the startup sequence seemed longer than usual. (Attached). Now, all seems well.

Previous/Reset: r51154 / no
Mode/Status: AP wired and wireless / Up and running for 3.6 hours
Issues/Errors: Nothing significant
The fact is that the router connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the orange WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). Internet is working, I just think it's a glitch
Edit: after clearing jffs again it works now. jffs is two times larger now 25 -> 48,5 MB
erase volume. i checked it on r7800. it works and i indeen increased volume size to use maximum storage

Status: Up and running for 2 hours, basic setup as Gateway, static leases, port forwarding DDNS, WOL, 2,4GHz, VAP for IoT, 5Ghz, (Vanilla Firmware, Disabled Airtime), DDNS (Inadyn) to freedns.afraid.org.
SmartDNS with DoT
On demand governor with minimum 800 MHz. IPv6 working
I have tested JFFS2 and that was working without a problem (not that I use it as I normally use an USB stick for permanent storage as that is replaceable in contrast to my nvram)
Posted: Fri Jan 06, 2023 19:46 Post subject: wndr3700v4 WDS Station no 5ghz VAP
My wndr3700v4 is a 5ghz WDS Station with a VAP to repeat the same SSID. As stated in a previous build thread, the Wireless Status page shows Channel: Unknown for wlan1.1 and the VAP no longer broadcasts as verified by inSSIDer. When I have more time, I will try to locate the regression version.
It seems the VAP doesn't work with 161 L or LL on the WDS AP. Ironically, it works with the reverse of 157 U (+ 161).
