Posted: Tue Dec 20, 2022 1:11 Post subject: New Build - 12/19/2022 - r51043
Welcome to Broadcom r51043 beta release thread for reporting, feedback to developers & community benefit.
Please do not flash builds until installation is understood, risks involved and device specificrecovery methods.
Avoid discussions, create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
Please list router model & revision, operating & wireless mode(s) and exact filename/firmware image flashed.
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.
• WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS) & bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work
in some configurations for certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Try station or repeater mode but YMMV.
• Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!
Important:
• Detail issues & relevant configs, logs: syslog klog 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' nvram set console_debug=1, serial.
• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Misc: stracetcpdumpwireshark.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.

Description:
Speedtest Over 5.8GHz Wireless. ISP Spec: 400 Mbps Down / 25 Mbps Up.
Router/Version: Linksys EA6400
Previous/Reset: no
Mode/Status: homeAP
Issues/Errors: 2.4GHz WiFi is still slow, bug continues. More info here - https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=333352 _________________ In DD-WRT for over 10 years.
P.S.
If you have trouble connecting with SSH then download the latest Putty and make sure under SSH/Host keys to move ed25519 to the top and untick "Prefer Algorithms for which a host key is known" or forget the HOST keys
If you have trouble connecting with WinSCP under Tools/Clean up Clear Cache

So for me RSA and Ed25519 works without problems.
But I had to delete the router from known_hosts.
probably because with radvd you just get RA (prefixes etc, but maybe firewall blocks dhcpv6 546,547 ports) and with dnsMSAQ you have RA + dhcpv6...
you should allways prefer dnsMASQ because it is state of art... and radvd is junk that doesn't gets updated... and that is why openwrt doesn't uses radvd... but radvd code is tiny and BS likes it... i would just suggest 2 lines in dnsmasq
this line will do RDNSS and will send Global Scope IPv6 of machine running dnsmasq and the link-local address... This will make all your clients (Android, M$, Mac) happy regarding DNS
Code:
dhcp-option=option6:dns-server,[::],[fe80::]
it is equivalent to dhcp-option=3,192.168.1.1 in ipv4... and then your router will use DNS you entered in GUI (resolv file)...

File/Kernel: netgear-r7000p-webflash.bin
Previous/Reset: 09-15-2022-r50176; no reset
Mode/Status: Gateway/Working
Issues/Errors: dropbear (ssh daemon) does not seem to load/recognize authorized keys. Confirmed key is present in /tmp/root/.ssh/authorized_keys on the router.
Router/Version: Archer C9 v1
File/Kernel: tplink_archer-c9v1/factory-to-ddwrt.bin and tplink_archer-c9v1/archer-c9v1-webflash.bin
Previous/Reset: current
Mode/Status: Bootloop
Issues/Errors: Router is stuck in bootloop after upgrading with firmware reset from r41174 aswell as after a "fresh" conversion from stock firmware.
Workaround: archer-c9v1-webflash.bin works after upgrading from r41174 and selecting "Do not Reset".
