WRT3200AC 5GHz - SSID missing at first

Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r51043 std (12/19/22)
Gateway, 5GHz, AP, mixed, VHT80, CH56 DFS, Short GI & Preamble, BeaconInterval-300, DTIMInterval2
WPA2 CCMP-128 (AES), 2.4Ghz and radar disabled, everything else is default

On new connection or startup, wireless devices have trouble finding the SSID as it is basically missing for a minute or so before wireless device can discover it. For example turning on a laptop or coming home after being on 5G network. I have this issues on all devices from laptops to iPads. Once the SSIDs are discovered then it stays connected no problems. I don't use 2.4Ghz because I live in a giant condo and there is too much interference.

Can you try channel 36, or 149 for 80Mhz? DFS Channels will have this issue.

This is correct, if wanting immediately discoverable 5 GHz SSID avoid entire DFS range.
